I love experimenting!

I have done paintings in a style something like pointillism, used mixed media with a slightly more abstract approach and even more adventurously, I have been "playing" with pure wool fibres, using wet felting techniques to make atmospheric "paintings".

Here are some of the results!

Above are a couple of small paintings using various elements which give texture, and fluid acrylics or acrylic inks.

Pointillist painting of Cornish mine ruin

Above are some small textile "paintings" using purely wool.

Each painting is wet-felted using dyed merino wool, and when dry, a little detail is added with needle felting and embroidery threads.
