Towards the interior of Western Australia is this strange rock formation. It is an arid area which is bathed in relentlessly hot sunshine for much of the year. In this painting, the rock had its "two-o-clock shadow". We climbed to the top, where there is a reservoir to save the precious rainwater. But even for me, it was too hot! |
