Apart from Sydney Opera House and Harbour bridge, Ayers Rock (Uluru, its aboriginal name, is the one it is generally known by nowadays) is probably the next most famous Australian landmark. It was unfortunate that when we visited, the weather was not good, and we did not get to see the famed Uluru sunrise, for which all the tourists wait at dawn. However, one evening we witnessed this spectacular sky above the rock. |
