Plymouth Sound is a mecca for all sorts of vessels, from speedboats, catamarans, small local ferry boats as well as Royal Navy ships and the huge Brittany Ferries vessels (one of which is shown at its mooring). The large building which is pictured behind the Brittany Ferry now no longer exists, as it had become structurally unsafe, so although a listed building, it had to be demolished. |
