Much
of the coastline north of Nelson in the South Island of New Zealand is part of the Abel Tasman National
Park. It is an area of densely wooded mountains and limestone rocks, washed
by turquoise waters which in the summer are ideal for sea kayaking. Many
people walk the tracks of the National park, either camping or staying in
lodges. Many of the inlets can be waded across at low tide. This picture
gives a flavour of walking on the Abel Tasman track. |
