We had the joy of visiting my favourite place in New Zealand again this year, 2009. The Cove has become famous through being the site of a film set (Prince Caspian we understand) and it is now much more popular for tourists, with a vastly improved path down to it, and even a toilet in the Cove (well hidden, thankfully).  In spite of those concessions to tourists, it is still an enchanted place, beautiful and awesome.
